Miste establishes a raw, unapologetic alternative sound, driven by gritty vocals over jagged guitars and heavy bass. Channeling themes of inner turmoil, struggle with mental health, and rebellion against conformity, his music is a collection of anthems for the restless featuring a rough, unfiltered energy, true to his punk influences. Artists and bands that have most impacted his sound include Crosses, Deftones, Bush, Wargasm, and Lingua Fina. 

Hooked by the spirit of early internet flash games, his love for music was sparked early by rhythm and music-making games. By 11, he had armed himself with a guitar and saxophone. This fueled his passion for pop, rock, and classical, evolving into an obsession with composition and production. Having obtained a degree in composition from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s in Production from Berklee College of Music, Miste's educational background and diverse influences have culminated into a distinctive soundscape that offers listeners something real, visceral, and unrestrained.
